It washes out easily, but keeps hair full and visibly clean when used. As someone with fine hair this is certainly a staple and a great deal. Why did you pick this product vs others?: It was cheaper, and I'm just trying it out, so I chose this brand. If you didn't know how small a 1 oz. quantity is, this will show you.
