Okay, let's talk hair. Mine is usually a choice between flat and lifeless, or greasy and over-gelled. When a two-pack of this "hair texture powder" showed up, I was suspicious. A powder? For hair? It sounded like something that would turn my head into a dusty library book. But here's the thing: this stuff is kind of magic. Each container has a simple shaker top, so you just tap a little into your palm . The powder itself is super fine and feels like nothing. You work it into dry hair, focusing on the roots, and suddenly you have… options. It doesn't feel sticky or crunchy like gel or wax. Instead, it adds this invisible grit that gives your hair something to hold onto, creating instant volume and a perfectly messy, textured look . The finish is completely matte—no shine, no grease, just a natural look that stays put . I'm really hoping this non-oily, lightweight formula holds up through all kinds of weather, because it’s become my go-to. Here is my honest take on the experience: What made me a believer: · Instant, weightless volume: It plumps up fine or thin hair without any sticky residue or heaviness . · The perfect matte finish: It completely eliminates grease and shine, giving a natural, "second-day hair" look that's actually stylish . · Easy and fast to use: A few shakes at the roots, a quick tousle with your fingers, and you're done. No elaborate routine needed . · Great for touch-ups: It's a lifesaver for refreshing your style between washes or on the go . What to keep in mind: · Less is more: It’s easy to overdo it. Start with a tiny amount—you can always add more. Too much can look chalky . · It's a texture tool, not super glue: The hold is subtle and reworkable. If you need a helmet-like, rigid style, you'll want a stronger product like a pomade or gel . · Watch for buildup: Since it absorbs oil, you'll need to use a good clarifying shampoo once a week to keep your scalp clean . · Works best on dry hair: Applying it to damp or wet hair won't have the same effect and can clump . In short, this hair powder is for the guy who wants to look put-together without looking like he tried. It's for fighting flatness, adding effortless texture, and ditching the grease. It solved my bad hair day problem with shocking simplicity. My hair now has more personality than my GPS voice, and all it took was a few shakes of powder. Read more

I want to preface this by saying that the product itself IS a bit sticky. It rinses off just fine, and the stickiness makes your hair sort of moldable honestly for a couple of days... I REALLY love it though! I have always struggled with even luxury hair products weighing my hair down, or not holding strong enough. The only way I could ever get my hair to be voluminous and HOLD, was to use a TON of "freeze" style hair spray. That makes the hair hard and weird. I don't like it. lol So at first upon reading the packaging I thought "is this just dry shampoo? Because that's what it sounds like..." I could not have been more wrong! I sprinkled this stuff kind of hap hazardly if I'm being honest, into my hair, and spread it to the roots and whatnot. And...at first it being sticky was off putting, but IT WORKED SO WELL FOR MY HAIR!!! It gave me volume, my hair was largely still VERY soft, the stickiness after applying is kind of hard to describe...the hair can still be molded but it's also soft... Anyway, the fact that you get TWO of these miracle powders....if you need volume without weight or hardness, GET IT. It's easy to apply, has virtually no scent, it holds incredibly well, and I would imagine it would work on most hair types since it's very gentle. Read more

This product is like hairspray but without the aerosol spray or crunchy after texture. It shakes out a fine powder, allowing me to style my hair and providing good hold for most of the day, and also remains soft and pliable. I also use it on my 2 year old's hair, though the hold doesn't last as long for him. Due to his rambunctious nature, I have to constantly restyle it into "spikeys" for him. It is easy to reapply if needed and washes out well. I tried to apply it to slightly damp hair, but it clumped up too much. It works much better on dry hair. Read more

This hair styling powder does a good job adding volume and texture, especially for fine or thin hair, and the matte finish looks natural without feeling greasy. It’s lightweight and easy to apply, making it convenient for quick styling. However, the hold is more moderate than expected and doesn’t always last all day for thicker or longer hair. Overall, it’s a decent product for casual styling, but may not be strong enough for more structured looks. Read more

This worked well on my toddler, who has thin, fine hair that cannot stand up to heavy weight gels or mousse well and where hairspray is too sticky. First off, the instructions on who can use this and how is should be used is extremely poor. That's nothing that a few quick google searches can't fix. Unfortunately, people are too lazy to do this, so here's the scoop: This isn't just a "men's" product - just anyone with the right hair type. If you're female or kid with a pixie cut or short bob, this could work for you just as well. Most optimal with hair that is 1-2 inches long. You need to apply this thing at the roots in your hairline, not shake it 10 inches over the top of your head like you're salting a basket of McDonald's french fries. This thing dries crunchy, so you'll look like a dander snowstorm if you put it on top and then comb it out with a rattail comb. Use your fingers or a very wide toothed styling comb. Hair must be thin or medium weight to style. If it's heavy or thick (most Asians), this product will not texturize or shape it well. If your hair is thick or long, I recommend you get a short and small straightening iron and flip your ends before you texturize. Afterward, finish with a quality hairspray for extra hold. If you do this right, it helps add significant volume and if you're slightly balding, will help create an impression of thicker hair. Read more
