I followed the directions to brush with this powder after brushing with my regular toothpaste. This is a fine lavender powder that you dip your wet brush head into. The taste is a nice mint, not too strong. It surprisingly foams fairly well. It comes in a glass jar with a plastic insert that fits snugly inside the top- do NOT throw this away or you'll end up with a powdery mess because the regular lid doesn't fit securely. This purple teeth whitening powder appears to be another product claiming to whiten teeth but show no signs of doing so. I will give the product some stars for being a good foaming and slightly minty tooth cleaner but I have not seen any improvements in color. It is gentle on the teeth which makes it much nicer for sensitive teeth. The claim of whitening is just not there. I honestly do not see a difference in my tooth color since using this. I like this tooth powder a lot as far as brushing with it goes. The taste is pleasantly minty. It does foam a lot, though, so if that’s an issue for someone, yhis is not for them. I was disappointed opening it that the powder is so pale. I’ve seen the ads for that Australian purple toothpaste that was almost as dark as an eggplant on the brush. This tooth powder is pale lavender. The foam isn’t really purple brushing with it. Honestly, I haven’t noticed significant whitening of my teeth. Maybe I just haven’t used it enough. As you can see in the photo, my toothbrush definitely has pale purple bristles now. The price is reasonable for getting two jars of the powder, but don’t expect instant or dramatic results.
