I ordered the Leisgoto Hair Styling Powder for my teenage son who uses hair styling powder on the regular. It came with the brand name Yecuce, instead of Leisgoto. Neither of those brand names mean anything to me, so not a big deal, just something to be aware of. My son got a new haircut and washed his hair and let it air dry. He used the hair styling powder to style once his hair was dry. He said it worked exactly like the expensive name brand that he usually uses. It gave him some body and texture, without adding weight or shine. It is a super fine white powder. The bottle has little holes in the inner lid to sprinkle out the powder, again, just like the expensive name brand. The main difference is the ingredients. A few of the main ingredients are the same, like the glycerin and silica. But this hair styling powder contains some beneficial ingredients like hydrolyzed silk and charcoal that the more expensive brand name does not. Bonus! If you want to compare the ingredients to other brands and judge for yourself, here are the ingredients (you’re welcome because typing these is a pain in the rear): Water (Aqua), Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Glycerin, Polyacrylamidopropyltrimo-nium Chloride, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch, Hydrolyzed Silk, Propylene Carbonate, Citric Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Propenediol, Sodium Chloride, Charcoal Powder, Fragrance Overall, it works and the bottle contains a whole ounce and it’s a great price. It’s an awesome value and get 5 stars from me. We will be switching to this hair styling powder when we need more. PS. I haven’t used this type of hair styling powder in a long time but I have before and this worked just as well as a name brand one I used long ago! I prefer this type of matte styling powder to help with subtle lift vs a spray since I have an oily scalp. This worked well, doesn’t leave a greasy reside and isn’t sticky. It has held up for hours so far. It does not have a strong smell to it although my allergies are acting up so my sense of smell is not very strong right now. It give a natural flexible finish and washes out easily. It is very easy to apply as well, just shake it some and then lightly squeeze towards your roots. Kind of like a baby powder bottle. Absolutely love it! We've been using texture powders of various brands for a while now as a great alternative to gels or mouse that leaves it crunchy and stiff or worse flaky like they have dandruff. This texture powders works great right up there with other big name products. Just apply to well toweled hair, near dry but just a bit damp and you'll get a clean natural hold that will last all day with care. The once nice part is this stuff does allow minor corrections and will still hold throughout the day as it never truly sets. My husband hates using any kind of gel in his hair so setting powders is the way to go. This styling powder has a very pleasant smell. I’ve gotten him some that are super overwhelming and strong. This one is subtle and perfect. It has a good hold to it. You can feel the stiffness on your fingers when working it on.
