It works, and it does need 2 USB ports though.. just so you know .. USB 3.0c port and a Type C.. one for data transfer and the other power? anyway.. it works and all you need is a Blue Ray software installed on your pc like.. Cyber Link Power DVD 24(version)/ Win 11. Not sure it works on Linux, but it should with default drivers, I doubt they make drivers for this. Read more

Pick a different Burner, you will thank me.

Haiway 5 in 1 Blu-Ray Burner Drive. For some reason the connection cables are hard wired into the player instead of a jack you plug into. The connection cables are very short so you cannot connect the player to anything other than a laptop with the exact port configuration required. If you are able to get it connected and working, you will need to download several questionable 3rd party applications to use the burn capability. I eventually became overly frustrated, never got it to work correctly, then tossed it in a drawer never to see the light of day again. Read more
