Works very well; if you make a large pot of veanz and lentils put them on low or on Warm and stir every hour and they won't burn and they cook evenly. The pot is easy to clean and you can smell the food throughout the house as it cooks. Chicken cooks well as well. I do not recommend cooking on high unless you have a very strong utensil or lots of upper arm strength to stir... because it's a lot of food to stir if it is full.
