Fantastic. Words Can't Do It Justice
This is my first experience with a pressure cooker and it couldn't have been a better one. The resident chef managed to brown and cook a 1.5lb pork tenderloin (cut in half) in a total time span of 24 minutes. She browned it for 10, cooked it at high pressure for 4, and let it sit in the cooker while it naturally released pressure for 10. She even used the cooker to make the sauce for the tenderloin. The end result couldn't have been any better. The setup was a little confusing. The cage that goes over the steam release valve on the inside of the lid came attached, but the manual says we have to screw it on. It came on very tight too. The manual could've also been a bit more detailed and included information that would've been helpful for first-time owners. That was our only real problem. The chef is looking forward to cooking other dishes with it, and I'm looking forward to trying them out! Read more

Traditional Cooking is MUCH QUICKER
Returning. Takes a ridiculous amount of time to get to pressure to start cooking. I could have cooked my chicken on the stove top much quicker. Used twice, once for potatoes and the other for a chicken. They did turn out fine but the amount of time they took made having this pointless. I have had 2 other electric PCs, different brands and know how they're supposed to work. This one was to replace a Cuisinart that I had for almost 15 years. I keep one at home and one in our 5th wheel and use them both. Switched to this to get the slow cooker combo at a lesser cost. After trying, I'm willing to pay more. Read more

I use mine for pot roast and beans. Slow cooking wasn’t as successful as the pressure cooking mode. Easy to cook beans without the lengthy crockpot way. Read more
