I have this model at home and have been using it for years. I do a lot of baking. My issue is that I couldn't find a second set of blasters. Since I know this mixer can't possibly last forever, I bought the same mixer again, so now I have a spare pair of beaters for when I'm doing a lot of baking, and I have my back up mixer for whenever I finally wear this poor thing out. Very pleased with this Hamilton Beach Hand Mixer. I took a good deal of time comparison shopping to find a quality hand mixer that was not too heavy, easy slider control and separate eject button. The mixer came with 2 stainless steel blades as well as a small whisk. A real plus is the nesting box that holds the blades and cord (only small portion of cord sticks out where attached to mixer) that the actual mixer sits in. Small size appliance that fits any kitchen. Perfect mixer for most jobs. During use you can sit it upright or prop it against the bowl you are using. The blades fit and eject perfectly. Good quality and pricing. Shipping was excellent. Additional plus is that by signing in to Amazon Smile part of the purchase price is donated by Amazon to the charity of your choice - in my case the ASPCA. Makes shopping even more enjoyable. I was disappointed when I received the blender, as it was in a damaged box and it had a scrape on it. I believe that someone had returned this and was not actually new, even though I ordered new. The item itself is a simple but nice blender that is great to have on hand. Read more

This little hand mixer packs a punch! It can handle anything. My son has one 5 years old so I bought one and I could not be more pleased with its powerful force. I think this came out of an Avenger movie it is so powerful!! Read more

Wonderful Hamilton Beach hand mixers: super powerful. On my third one in 30 + years. They last, at least, a good ten years of hard use! Even outlasted an expensive Kitchen Aid hand mixer...that didn't hold up after a few months...and just quit on me. No matter the other brands....I always go back to my Hamilton Beach! It's a workhorse of the tallest order. Read more

The only thing I don't like about this mixer is that it doesn't have a low speed. Even though there are numbers for different speeds, it pretty much starts on a med/high speed. Otherwise it works fine...you just have to be careful that you don't fling flour outside the bowl. Read more
