I'd read about these being heavy and some said the hooks would bend so we took the added precaution of stringing the back with wire and using an anchor in a stud (middle placement) just as support for any failure. They look fantastic and they are excellent glass mirrors with no waves as seen in cheaper versions. The metal is solid too. bought this mirror because I needed a mirror in my second bathroom because this is what society expects of me and I fell in love with it. solid build and excellent mirror quality. It was well packaged and included hardware was perfect for easy hanging. yes it is heavy but maybe you should lift some weights or learn to use mechanical advantage to help you hang things. ***update*** they look great! Super happy with them and have already gotten lots of compliments on them! If you have rubbed bronze fixtures, the “black” goes perfectly with them so don’t worry. I did not hang them myself but the guy who hung them didn’t seem to have a hard time hanging them. They are very heavy and sturdy though! Anyway, money well spent! I bought two of these for our master bathroom in our new house that is not complete yet. I have not seen them hung yet so I cannot comment on a final opinion but I opened the boxes and looked at them and they looked amazing. They are pretty heavy but luckily we are having our builder hang them. I think they’re going to look great. I got the black ones because they were sold out of the rubbed bronze, but after reading reviews many people said the black looked like rubbed bronze, which they do so I am pleased. Beautiful, stylish, high-quality mirror for a fraction of price of those I've seen in some high-end stores. The mirror is quite heavy; however, we did not have any issues installing it. Provided instructions were clear and straight forward. I would like to mention the exceptional customer service of Hamilton Hills company. The first mirror I received was flawed; the frame was bent on one of the sides. I emailed Hamilton Hills and they responded within hours. They sent me a new mirror without asking me to go through the hassle of returning the damaged item. The replacement item arrived just a couple days after. This mirror is better looking than it appears in its listing. It's very well made. I deducted one star for the pathetic mounting hardware that comes with the mirror. There was no way I was going to trust the large picture frame hooks included with the mirror to hold it on the wall securely. Otherwise, it's a great choice. Read more

We bought this for a condo that we eventually plan to rent out. But I love it so much I plan to take it with us and replace it with a cheap mirror lol. Very heavy duty, absolutely no distortion that I can see. The backing is very high quality as well. We tried to hang it with the hardware supplied; but we didn’t pre-drill the hole for the nail, and we think we hit a spot that was previously patched. So we made a big hole in the wall. Ultimately we ended up buying a metal French cleat, unscrewing the d-rings on the back, and using those screws for the French cleat. For added security with used a couple dots of gorilla glue when attaching the French cleat to the back of the mirror. We were only able to use one stud for the piece on the wall , and we’ve had no issues so far. Though it says you don’t have to screw into a stud, we were worried because it feels heavier than the 30 lbs it says. Read more

The picture doesn’t do it justice! It is beautiful and a true shiny chrome. Exactly what we wanted! Let me warn you though it is heavy and needed two of us to hang it. We hung it horizontally but it can be hung vertically as well. All the hooks already mounted and hardware included. It is the final touch for a bathroom renovation. Love it! Read more
