I bought this to replace another hand mixer with worn-out beaters that had their chrome plating flaking off. I'm thrilled with this one for the price and the features it has! Right away, the stainless-steel beaters are a MAJOR improvement - they aren't "plated" and thus won't become worn and flake away over time (thereby leaving tiny metal flakes in my food). The included whisk beater is also quite handy - it's perfect for whipped cream, egg whites, and doing the "final" mix for cream pie filling. While my old hand mixer had two whisk beaters, this one still works perfectly despite only having ONE and seems sturdy. Also, I noticed right away that the 1st speed, while still a bit "faster" than that of some more expensive hand mixers, still isn't fast enough to make a "storm" of flour or powdered sugar. That has been my #1 complaint with many other mixers along this price range, but this one isn't bad. Also, the speed control seems pretty accurate, and the "turbo" button is useful as well. The speed increases only very "gradually" as the switch is moved up (and in a subtle way), as opposed to "jumping" from one, slower speed to the next. I've had this hand mixer for almost four months and have used it often to mix and whip up a variety of foods of varying consistencies. It has performed without a hitch each time. The unit is well-constructed and the speed selector switch feels solidly built like it's made to last with each speed distinctly clicking into place properly. The attachments are of high quality. On my unit, the attachment removal push button necessitates decisive force to expel the attachments but manual removal of them is snap. The model number label on the mixer itself states the voltage (120V 60 Hz) but not the wattage (400W) of the motor - it should. All in all an excellent buy and highly recommended. Read more

Box came all banged up but the mixer and parts seem unaffected. Feels good in the hand, nice and solid. But you better use a deep bowl or hold the mixer with the nose down to keep your contents in the bowl because when it is turned on to speed 1 it is at about 80% full speed. You can barely notice any change to speeds 2 - 5. It is powerful. I bought it for making bread and it handled mixing a single loaf with ease. It is powerful and did the job with ease. Now that I have used it a few times I know to used a deeper bowl than usual and angle the nose way down to keep things in the bowl. April 2, 2021. I am appalled by this company. They Have reached out and offered to pay me to change or remove my neg review. I am very surprised that Amazon allows this. I can't help but think that if Amazon does allow this practice to occur then it's whole believability to offer the best products fairly is out the window. I returned the mixer that only ran on high speed and decrease my stars to a 1 because in my 63 years no company has stooped so low as to actually offer me money to be dishonest. Only giving 4 stars because it didn’t come with the storage part and that’s literally the only reason I made this purchase lol :/ other than that it works great and I do agree the first setting is mad fast but it no way whatsoever did it cause me to make a mess of any sort. I’ve had the same mixer since 1975, and it was my mother-in-law’s before I got it. I finally decided to get a new one and I chose this one. I’m very pleased with it. One thing I wanted in a mixer was power to mix heavy batters and this one does that. The beaters are a good size, and the adjustable speed easily changes from very slow to very fast. I love the extra attachments that come with it, and the added container keeps everything close together instead of searching the drawers for that other beater. Everything about this mixer makes me glad I got it. It may not last fifty years but I probably won’t either, so my kids can fight over who inherits this beauty! Read more

I just love this mixer! The best thing to know is that IT DOES NOT WOBBLE when you are mixing! I have bought and returned expensive KitchenAid and Cuisinart hand mixers - they are so uncomfortable when mixing something - even something as light as a cake batter - because they wobble so badly. THIS ONE DOES NOT WOBBLE! It's easy on the hand, it's light but very powerful. I have used all of the attachments - beaters, whip, and dough hooks, and each is easy on my hands. I love the beaters because they are balanced, and they have the "center bar" down the middle. I do think that is why these are so nice. You can't go wrong for the price either. Great unit.
