This pull‑up bar is extremely sturdy and feels so much safer than the regular doorway bars that just hook onto the frame. Those can sometimes slip or let go, which is the last thing anyone wants when they’re hanging from it. We've personally had our fair share of accidents from them in our house, so they just aren't allowed anymore. This one gets fully screwed and mounted into the wall or doorway, so once it’s up, it’s solid and not going anywhere. I originally planned to put it in my son’s room so he could jump on it whenever he felt like it, but he and his brother decided it would be better in the makeshift gym they’ve been putting together in our attic. Arrived with packaging busted all over bc there is not much packaging to stop contents from shifting. Bolts to hold bar in place above are very difficult to adjust due to powder coating sprayed on threads. Bit overall, it’s solid and working as expected. Read more

I have this pull up bar installed outside. I did use a 4 ft level across the back to try and get it leveled. It looks like something was sticking up or uneven welds in the back which resulted in a slightly crooked install. If you are installing this make sure to take your level at the front of the bar itself. It's sturdy and it comes with heavy duty screws. I did buy my own 3/8 galvanized bolts with washers to secure the other side. The knearling gives it a good grip but doesn't tear up your hand either. There are hooks for attaching bands so you more more functionality than just doing pull-ups. Overall it's study enough to hold my weight of 250lbs. The bar itself is strong as long as you mount it securely. I am worried about rust since this is installed outdoors. If I'm not mistake there are a few specs of rust already on the mounting area where the screws are. It's a good value but make sure to install it securely. Read more
