Very powerful! I chose this immersion blender because it had from my price point the strongest motor capabilities and sometimes stronger isn’t always better. For example, when I’m blending my bean soup in the pot on the stove, I noticed that it is so powerful that it will pull the blender to the bottom of the pot and so it actually takes a lot of strength to keep the blender from suctioning down on the very lowest setting so this is definitely for heavy duty use not your average soups or smoothies.
