As a toddler and dog mom, this steam cleaner made its way to the top of my must-have list. I love my light-colored sneakers, and my little one and dog love mud, water, and pretty much anything dirty. My family's not the type to be super careful in where they walk, so after a rainy day or trip, I end up with a pile of dirty shoes to clean. Here's why I like it: - It's just easy, and the task feels less daunting. I can clean shoes faster than I did before, which gives me time to do other things. - The tiny brushes were great and accessories included really had function in mind. They can reach into the nooks and crannies of tiny shoes or even some of the detailing on my shoes. My toddler's shoes were nice and clean after my little one found and proceeded to stomp around in a mud pit. (I did wear some gloves and tongs when cleaning my toddler's sneakers just because there's only so little shoe I can hold on to.) - I think it was great from a value perspective. The accessory set pretty much covers what you need. It's nice to pick up something and not need to spend more on additional add-ons. The quality feels good, too, and so far it's keeping up with heavy family use. - I don't know if it's the steam or just that they're clean, but the shoes smell fresher after the cleaning. - It's not that heavy. This might not be so important if you are an occasional cleaner, but weight really factors in for me when those messes start piling on. Overall, this is small and packs fairly well. It won't take up that much suitcase space, so I can take it on family trips, where my family will undoubtedly get into more messes on all the adventures we go on. So I started a little side hustle cleaning sneakers and wow can’t be more happy with the product!!!! Easy to use with amazing results and can be used on the go which makes it even nicer. I had high hopes for this, considering the price and the slick clever video …but it never worked as described the handle wheee you hold it heats up so much it feels like it might catch fire after a few minutes only of use. Also even after making sure the seals are intact water spills and leaks everywhere including the shoes you’re trying to clean. QR code and website don’t work or haven’t been updated in years. No way is this safe to use or the one I have came defective. Read more

I used the SteamZap Shoe Steam Cleaner on my white sneakers that had gotten pretty dirty (see before/after photos). After the first round, they already looked better, but after a second pass, the difference was clear - much brighter and fresher! It was easy to use, noticeable results without using harsh chemicals (I used Dr bronners soap + water), and surprisingly worked well on my white shoes! This steamer works great ! I sanitized and cleaned a pair of casual shoes and they came out like new. Also cleaned an old pair of sneakers that I was going to throw out, they also cleaned up nicely.
