These run rather large. I bought the xs following the size guide for my 4 year old. My son is 30 lb and he swam in them. The waist on the underwear is 18" total, leg holes are 12" total, but he wears a 4 t, so these didnt work out at all. If your child is out of the toddler size, etc and wearing regular 4 and 5 sizes, these may work. They are very well made, solid lining for leaks. The leg holes are like a French cut leg, not round. If your child has larger leaks these would not work. The lining runs from the front to the back, but does not look like it holds much liquid. I'd say the padding is about 1/4 in thickness and smooth with no hard seams. I returned them due to being larger than what I needed. Read more

I use these as daily underwear for my disabled child for urinary incontinence. I was looking for a washable option. I like the fit overall, but they gap around his legs. This has resulted in a little leaking. It's not necessarily the fault of the product, just his body sizing - skinnier legs than another child wearing the same size.
