On the downside, even with the most gentle care the elastic frays and looks a little "fuzzy" after about a month. The sides and back cover the top of my hips (hello love handles) but reveal the rest. They are soft and extremely stretchy. I'm a size 16 and know these will fit whether I go up or down a few sizes (down being the goal!).
