I have been wearing only Hanky Panky cotton original rise thongs for years - no underwear is as comfortable and forgiving as these. I haven't got the patience to hand wash them in cold water and dry flat, as instructed. I just throw them in the washer/dryer and hope they last. In the photo, the navy pair shown is 2 different shades of blue (darker lace, lighter cotton), but on the pair I received, the cotton and lace are the same darker shade. They're very cute, though, and very comfortable. I'm about a size 6-8, and these are a perfect fit. They are still fairly low rise on me (about 3 inches below my belly button), although I could pull them up higher, and I do have a fairly long torso and do no wear low rise pants--these may show under lower rise jeans, etc. I just got them so I can't speak to how long they will last, but the quality seems great. I have many different pairs of thongs from many different brands. And yes, i know Hanky Panky is expensive. But they honestly are the best fitting thongs I've ever worn. I've only gotten the original rise....I'm 51 (funny coincidence with the name of your store) so low rise is just not for me.
