I fell in love with this faucet after seeing the product photo. It certainly is a sleek and attractive faucet. However, when I opened the box and began going over the instructions, I was surprised at the appearance of the drain pull rod, which isn't shown in the product photos. It is a simple 1/8" in diameter bent metal rod that sticks up in the back of the faucet, detracting from the simple lines. True, it’s hidden behind the faucet once installed, but it is so thin and small, it’s easy to miss and could be tricky to operate with wet soapy hands. Ah, but other than the pull rod, I really do like this faucet. The single-handle operation is very handy. The faucet is designed to be installed in other 1-hole or 3-hole bases, but if you want to put it over a 3-hole base, you will need a 3-hole baseplate (sold separately). Other than that and some plumber’s putty, all you need for installation comes in the box. The faucet stands nearly 12” above the counter, and extends out about 6” (good to know if you are choosing a countertop basin). Indeed, the extra height is great for countertop basins or bowels. The metal is quite solid and a pleasure to operate. Installation is straightforward; instructions are covered well in the enclosed manual. The faucet flows at a maximum rate of 1.2 gallons per minutes, which fits well within water conservation codes. Read more

Ok so I combined this with my vivenis freestanding tub filler in our master bath and the clean white look combined with the high arch faucet and the farmhouse deep basin sinks...amazing aesthetics! Ok so like the tub filler, this has what I can only describe as an effervescent flow feel. It feels alive when you are washing your hands under the flowing water. I had a plumber and a contractor professionally redo our bathroom because I needed some pipes moved and well it needed everything, so I cannot attest to the simplicity in installation other than for me it was super easy lol. I didn’t even blink to request this one as it's from my favorite line, Vivenis Modern. The faucets from this line truly have a ‘Modern’ looking design that instantly upgrades the whole bathroom upon installation. But it’s not just about how it looks. The longer you use it, the more you will appreciate how well the Hansgrohe faucet is made. It’s made to last and functions extremely well.
