The media could not be loaded. This hansgrohe niche for use in a shower stall is fantastic: thick metal, deeply finished, concrete grey, heavy. It's just a box you inset into a tile wall for storage of soap, shampoo, etc., but it's beautiful and comes with a five-year warranty on its finish. Included with the niche is a polystyrene box that fits behind the finished metal box, surrounding it, with a flange on the front face that is taped, mudded, sealed and then tiled over so that there is little-to-no possibility of water leakage when properly installed. It's an elegant and expensive alternative to the basket hanging over the shower arm... You need the shower and the plumbing fixtures to make it worth purchasing and you can only really do it as a new install--no retrofitting this piece in your shower--but for understated contemporary style it can't be beat. quality is superb, always first class...and this nook is no different.... of course, you can buy similar for less, but if you want the best fixtures, Hans is up there with the best from my experience. this unit will take some time till I can install it, as I have to break through tile, etc. But am very impressed with the metal... cause its Hans, u know the metal will not rust, that is what you are paying for, as the finishing process is very sophisticated, built to last... price a bit high, so 4.5 stars... I got this wall niche with integrated frame and a matte white finish of a 12” x 36” size. This is a very large size in this item was quite expensive. The quality is fantastic and it looks great. I added it into my kitchen during the remodel and it works great to hold my mostly used stuff off of the counter. I really like how this turned out, giving me some extra space and looking good. This is nice quality but not worth the value this is just a pice of sheet metal that was put thru a die press not worth the exuberant cost that it set for it you can get the same quality from home depot Lowe’s or if you have a sheet metal company near you and about 150$ that could make it for you Read more

The completion is smooth and no sharp edges to manage. It's huge and it's heavier than I naturally suspected it would be. Strong piece of metal. This could be squeezed into a current shower to utilize it with another shower introduce. Quality is magnificent yet next to zero pitch on sidewalls so when introduced level the water that gets in there will in general pool about a quarter inch high at the rear wall. This is a mark specialty expansion that has gotten praises acclaim in sharing the draft plan. The nature of the measure steel is solid and very much made. This is a rock solid niche by Hansgrohe. The concrete grey finish is simple yet beautiful. The entire niche itself is quite hefty, weighing close to 8 lbs in total. It feels quite premium. I did take a star away due to the hefty price tag. However this is a top notch niche! It even has a warranty. The finish is smooth, no sharp edges to deal with. It’s big and it’s heavier than I thought it would be. Solid piece of metal. This is a good quality niche. It comes with everything you need to install it and it’s narrow, clean lines look really sharp. I was surprised at how heavy it was and white structural stability it had. Installation seems simple and I’m looking forward to getting it installed. Read more
