Got this for college and its wonderful. Its got a lovely amount of cushion and isn't too thick. Whenever I have friends over my dorm they go straight to laying on my bed. At first I was unsure about this product and I really went back and forth on whether or not to buy it. I bought this to go on a cheap college futon that I have in my apartment at school- and for that- it works great. I have a 4 inch memory foam mattress topper on my dorm bed that I love- but as you may know, those are expensive but I wanted comfort for my futon on a budget, especially since it’s not slept on as frequently as my bed. I knew that this topper wasn’t going to be as comfortable as my memory foam mattress topper that I have on my bed- which is true, so if that’s what you are looking for this is not that. It’s also way less money than that so keep that in mind. I think if this was going on a real bed this would be undoubtedly be even more comfortable. My futon is janky and uneven so this really helps give it some cushion and comfort. I used I hate sleeping on my futon and it is much more tolerable with this. It takes a while to fluff up to full capacity so be patient and don’t sleep on it right after you pull it out of the packaging. I do like that it takes up less space than a big memory foam topper and it is also much lighter. Once I graduate, I will definitely be putting this on my full sized mattress at home because it does add some extra cushion. - not the kind you sink into and can’t move out of- but like you are laying on a few layers of fluffy blankets. I was overwhelmed with the choices and read reviews and finally decided on the Hansleep topper. It arrived in a very compact package that was vacuumed, so it took a little while to get it in shape again. The description said to put it out for 24-48 hours, so I spread it out on one of our guest beds and let it rest for a day or 2. When I returned, it definitely had fluffed up quite a bit. I put it on our RV mattress and it fit perfectly. The elastic in the deep pockets make sure it stays in place. Our first night on the topper we certainly felt an improvement. The mattress felt softer and we both had a better sleep. I'm not sure if you can wash this topper in the machine. We already had a mattress protector, so we just put the topper on the mattress and then put the protector over it, which works fine. Read more
