VERY effective for travel - and probably even for home use
I've taken several packets of Happy Elephant Laundry Detergent Sheets with me to Kyrgystan, Iceland and Greenland since discovering them at Amazon this past summer. In each location, I had access to either a shared sink, a tiny washing machine or just my fabulous Scrubba bag (also bought at Amazon). I was very impressed with these washing sheets in each place used. They dissolve SUPER fast and easy so there is not one trace of them left at the end of a cycle. They are completely unscented, so no weird smell. Each envelope comes with 6 sheets that DO have to be peeled slowly and gently away from each other (after being smashed in my luggage and exposed to some humidity in the area), but otherwise, they work fantastic. My clothes came out without the small stains and soil on them, smelling fresh and clean with NO perfume. I felt that I was leaving my enviornment in a safe place. I would even cut these sheets in two if I had just sox and undies to wash, but I did use them in a tiny washing machine packed with a full load of clothes. For use in my Scubba bag, I'd put my clothes in the bag, place a laundry sheet on top, add the right amount of water, then give them a vigorous swishing, let them soak through the dinner hour, and finish the load before bed, hanging things up to dry. In many instances we were told that a hotel or lodging laundry facility would be available to use, and it simply WAS NOT. So I was the only person in my group to smile unconcerned hearing that news as I'd been doing my hand washing every evening of the trip, lol! I absolutely know that these Happy Elephant Laundry Detergent Sheets will be part of my permanent travel kit going forward. Who has time, money or interest in hunting down a laundry facility in a foreign country when clothes can be washed right in your hotel room (or tent camp, or yurt, or 3-masted ship's cabin!) so easily?
