This is honestly great. I'm no matcha connoisseur. I don't do tea ceremonies or use a special wisk. I use regular wisk and mix with small amount of water first usually cold also put a drop or two of lavender and stevia and a little vanilla stevia liquid then fill with water add ice and a splash of 1/2&1/2. Delicious, feels good. Great value. Was considering micro ingredients which is cheaper for even more but am nervous about heavy metals and contaminants and they provide no information on testing. It might be ok.. but i don't know. At least with harney and sons they are a reputable company that has been around for a while and hopefully is a trustworthy brand. Read more
Looking for lots of matcha and not just a tiny tin? But also for high quality but you can use everyday for lattes as well? This is it. Harney and sons is amazing overall. I used to live near their HQ and love their tea. This matcha is superb it’s from Japan and yes pricey but you are getting good! Matcha and lots! Of if. This is what you need to get. That’s all. Stop looking around. Read more

I tried this matcha powder today, and while it has some redeeming qualities, it didn’t quite meet my expectations compared to a ceremonial-grade matcha. The powder itself has a yellowish tint (as seen in the pictures above), which differs from the vibrant green I usually look for. The flavor is also lighter and slightly more bitter, making it less smooth in comparison. As someone who enjoys a strong matcha latte, I typically use about 3 teaspoons of ceremonial matcha. However, with this brand, I found that I needed to use between 4-5 teaspoons to get a similar strength and depth of flavor. If you're looking for a lighter, more subtle matcha, this might work for you, but if you prefer a bolder taste, be prepared to use more powder than usual. That said, it blends well and doesn’t clump, which is a plus. Overall, it’s decent but not my top choice for a richer matcha experience. Read more

This product is not as bitter as other matcha I tried. Plus, it has a slight milky-like flavor...it's quite pleasant to have a cup of it to start a day's work. Read more

I've been using this matcha for years. It's delicious, high quality, organic and affordable for the quality. I use it with a small strainer and a matcha whisk for a daily daily cup of smooth delicious matcha to start the day right! Love that the caffeine from matcha is released over several hours, so you about the caffeine rush/jitters and crash that some people get from coffee. Read more
