Harper Wilde Bliss Scoop Bralette - Ultra-Soft Lightweight Wire-Free Scoop Neck Bralette for Women

I have bought so many of these kinds of bras and this brand is not cheap, but it's amazing. These run VERY small, so size up. I wear a medium-large t-shirt depending on the cut (large is almost always baggy) and I bought an XXL and it's still snug (by design) but not too tight. I had a breast reduction 20 years ago and it left big scars, and this is the first snug material that doesn't make those scars ache. I would wear it under a shirt to the store and casually but it does give you a bit of a monoboob (not like a sports bra, but it's lifting and compressing) so I wouldn't wear it to work or a nice dinner. It stretches but it's not a bralet type of stretch, more like a sports bra stretch with softer material and bit more give. It's too constricting for me to sleep in, like I sometimes do with Popfit's material that's crazy thin and stretch. I've bought their regular t-shirt bra and sports bra. the t-shirt bra is by far my FAVORITE and I learned why we have the hooks (they are labeled to adjust as the bra stretches out every 3 months or so). I always thought that was for bloating 🤣 not to compensate for the elastic stretching. Brilliant design now that I get it. The material is very sturdy, hard to describe. Wanted to love this bra but it is just too small, too tight. I have a couple of these already but it seems they have changed their sizing. I usually purchase a large but had to return those for an XL and now this new style is even smaller. I am 5'-5", 140 pounds, 34b and bought an XL, I need an XXL. I've never needed such a huge size. Between a 36C and 38C, I got the large size as per their sizing chart and it did fit, but I probably could’ve gone up a size too. It is sort of comfortable but there is zero support. The fabric is very soft and very thin, but double lined and very stretchy too. The same fabric seems to be used for the straps and a similar fabric for the band, but maybe a thicker version in the band. Due to the characteristics of the fabric being so soft, smooth and stretchy it almost feels as if your boobs are more bouncy wearing this meaning the straps are not supportive at all, also the band around your rib cage has no elastic band in it so it gets wrinkled up under your boobs. It’s a cute design but probably something for just wearing around the house, so $52 for something to wear around the house is kind of a lot. The straps are also very thin and in my photo I compare it to another brand that I believe is a similar style, but this other brand feels like it has more support due to the band having an elastic in it and strap size being thicker. Great looking bra with wonderful material - just two sizes smaller than a usual fit - and I bought small! For such a nice little item, the sizes are tailored for pre adolescent girls. Too bad for that higher price. Read more
