After using this razor for a few shaves I have come to enjoy it. The actual shave is great, nice and smooth with no nicks and after about 4-5 shaves I think I can still get a few more clean shaves out of the blade. The metal body does feel surprisingly nice compared to a normal plastic handle. I also like that whatever metal they use does not get super cold so it's not uncomfortable to pick up. There is a rubber underbody to help with grip along with some groves in the metal to place your fingers. Either way I can get a good grip on the razor despite the body being mostly smooth metal. The razor blades itself are nice and wide along with having a lubricating strip to help give a smooth shave. The main feature of this model seems to be advanced pivoting. The whole head can tilt back a decent amount to help more easily go over your chin. I don't think there is anything crazy about this pivot compared to to "pivoting technology" from other razor brands but it is a nice feature to have either way. The other features advertised is "Progressive Blades" and a compact cartridge. Progressive blades seems to mean that each blade gets closer to the skin than the last. I'll take their word on it, the shave does leave very little stubble so it seems to work fine. The cartridge is probably more compact than the normal Harry's but around the same size as competitors cartridges. Realistically though I cant think of a scenario where I am looking for a cartridge that is a few millimeters smaller. What I really have had trouble with is the push to eject button. Personally I have to fight a decent bit to get it to eject, and when I do I need one hand to push the button and the other to pull the blade off. Either way I think there is just not enough grip given, the button is smooth plastic with a slight curve and a thin piece of rubber. I have my doubts that the rubber grip will last very long because it's starting to show signs of tearing already. I find that I usually need to use my fingernails to get a grip cause my thumb just slides right off. Overall, the metal build is probably the biggest upgrade this razor provides its surprisingly nice to have in you hands compared to a plastic razor body. The actual razor does a great job, I don't think it does anything crazy that sets it apart from other more premium razors I have tried but it gives me a quick clean shave which is all I really want. The issue with the eject button kept me from giving the product 5 starts, however its good for me to use as my daily driver. Read more
