Good for price. Button switch on back of flashlight is usually first thing to malfunction but this switch feels solid when clicking. Do not care for strobe on any flashlight. Light projects wide lit circle with brighter beam in center. Ok for walking around outside in dark. Small size is barely noticeable when in pocket. I like that I can use my AAA rechargeable batteries ( do not want rechargeable flashlight). Don't know if there are better lights in this price range but I am pleased with these ( bought two pack). These are small, bright, and lightweight. Well made and sturdy. They take an AAA battery, so don't expect hours of illumination. But, for a very small and easy to use light, they are perfect for all occasions. A single button push alternates from bright to low to flash. These are great Read more
You can’t beat the price for four pocket lights. Very handy and plenty bright for those dark work areas. With only one tiny AAA battery I can’t believe how long they last Read more
Didn't really intend to buy another flashlight, but I needed something inexpensive to round out an Amazon order total to over $25, so ordered additional item for about what I'd pay for shipping my main stuff. Found this flashlight that fit the bill for cost, AAA battery use, and a relatively good set of reviews. Have not used this unit for more than a few weeks, so can not comment on some of issues mentioned in other reviews, such the on/off switch malfunctioning within a relatively short time, or the unit can not withstand some everyday abuse (stops working after dropped a few times on hard surfaces). I can say that it does put out a lot of light for its size, and as a few others mentioned, it can indeed to too bright for some uses. Also for me, it would have been more useful to have a lanyard ring instead of the pocket clip. 7/15/19 Update: When I reviewed this flashlight about a year ago, gave it only a 3-star rating because I had it only for a short time, and unsure about its longevity. With a relatively high number of negative reviews about its quality, especially for the on/off switch. Since then I've been carrying it around in my pocket all the time for more than the past 6 months or so, and using it a couple to half-dozen times a day. There haven't been any problems so far, so I've upgraded my rating to 4-stars for the one I got. Found that for my use, the best way to reduce battery costs and ensure that I have more power available on a consistent basis, is to use an older spare pair of NiMH AAA rechargables that I switch between periodically, and I'm usually assured of a pretty intense bright light when I need it. 11/16/23 Update: This small flashlight has been very handy for me, but after using several times daily for 5+ years, decided to replace it for another one because: - The rear switch has been erratic electrically for months now, although mechanically it feels OK. Too often needed to loosen back cover, then -re-screw back down to get flashlight to work. Sometimes how tight the back gets screwed back affects the light intensity. - The LED appears to be wearing out. This was more obvious when I just moved the old unit's battery to the new unit, and then noticed the new unitLED light much brighter. Read more
These little guys are really convenient. Bright, has different modes and has a strobe mode which is nice. They made very well considering the price. They last long and even longer with rechargeable batteries. The size is about the same as a pen, I have found many uses for these. The focus is fixed but in the way that depending on what you're attempting to look at, the beam widens and allows for more visibility. I have used them inside and outside and in low temperatures. Be careful with that and check your batteries minimum temperature. I use PowerOwl which has minimum of -40°F. Read more
Very small. Nice beam. Better than my iPhone or watch. Beam doesn’t adjust. Light weight, can clip on your shirt or pocket, and is very durable… Read more

Nice and small, easy to use, like that it uses only one AA battery, but am disappointed in the strength of the light beam....doesn't seem very bright. But, maybe it's because it's so tiny. Read more
