Lightweight, No White Cast, and the Best-Smelling Body Sunscreen I’ve Used (5+ Years)
I originally bought this sunscreen because I wanted something that actually felt nice to wear on my body, especially for beach and pool days. I’ve been using it consistently for about five years now, and it’s the only body sunscreen I keep coming back to. How I use it: I use this strictly on my body (not face) during vacations, beach days, and pool days. I have sensitive, combination skin, and this has never caused irritation or breakouts for me. What I love: • No white cast at all, even when applying a generous amount • Very lightweight and not greasy or sticky • Leaves my skin feeling moisturized, not dry or tight • The scent is incredible — a mild but noticeable coconut/tropical smell that fades gradually and doesn’t feel overpowering • Gives the skin a subtle, healthy-looking shimmer, which looks especially nice in the sun • Has provided reliable sun protection for me with proper reapplication Compared to other body sunscreens I’ve tried, this one stands out. It doesn’t leave the chalky residue I’ve experienced with some Neutrogena formulas, it doesn’t have the artificial smell I associate with Banana Boat, and it feels more effective and pleasant to wear than Coppertone. Things to consider: • The scent, while mild, is noticeable. If you prefer completely fragrance-free products, this may not be for you • Because of the shimmer and fragrance, I personally wouldn’t use this on my face Bottom line: If you’re looking for a body sunscreen that feels lightweight, smells amazing, leaves no white cast, and actually makes your skin look good while protecting it, this is an excellent option.
