So I got my package yesterday may 5th that I had order the boots the night before because I was going to a concert with my mom (an early mothers day gift). So we were at the concert, after 2 hours of being there standing and singing from the top of my lungs, the right side of the boot heel broke. It was embarrassing. And once the concert finished walking out of the Crypto Arena in L.A. to parking lot the left side boot heel broke as well. I was so upset that I took them off and left them there and started walking barefoot to the car. For $40 definitely not worth it. I purchased this pair of boots in White stretch leather to use as a shoe base for a complex cosplay design. As a U.S. size 9, the 9 fit perfectly! I noticed many of the reviewers discussing the shoe being too small purchased the black suede variation of the shoe, but so far these white stretch ones are great. I like that they are pull-on shoes because it means that it looks fantastic for cosplays of characters that exist in worlds without zippers! I plan on sewing a long “leg warmer” out of white stretch leather that I can slip on over these boots in order to make them thigh-high. I’ll also be gluing some 3D printed parts to the base. With the quality of the shoe’s stitching and grip on the bottom, I have no worries that these will hold up great at an upcoming convention! Read more
