I wasn't sure whether putting more blades on the shaving head was just a gimmick, so I decided to take a shot at it. Turns out, it really works. I'm able to get more hair off my scalp in fewer passes, which saves time and energy on a busy workday morning. Because the head covers a larger area, I'm able to leave my scalp just as smooth, but with a much more modest investment of time. The adjustable head is curved inward, which makes it ideal for shaving your scalp, but not so much for shaving your face. I'm able to remove all unwanted scalp hair, which is to say all of it, in a few quick, low-effort passes, leaving my head relatively smooth and clean. Considering that this shaver head isn't particularly more expensive than the standard variety, I consider that a good investment. The trade-off is that the blades don't pop out for cleaning quite as easily. I find myself fumbling awkwardly with the heads, trying to open them to wash out the removed hair, and it can take a few tries. Especially if you've just cut your fingernails, opening the head and actually cleaning this thing gets to be a nuisance in a hurry, and I find myself cussing at the inefficiency. But that's a minor issue overall, and something you can probably figure out how to work around. What matters is that it gets the hair off your scalp, and it certainly does that with minimal fuss. I bought a bald head shaver a couple of months ago. With it, I also bought a 7head replacement. I saw the 9head, but hesitated to get one as it looked like it wouldn't be as flexible and wouldn't do a good job. Dead wrong! The 7head replacement did well and covered a lot of surface area. This one is the best. Worked well and a lot easier to clean. With the 7head, the razor heads would flip up for cleaning, but kept closing while I cleaned them. The heads on the 9head lock in place and don't close until you flip them down. Cleaning is a cinch: flip up heads and lock them in place, turn center head counter clockwise and remove, hold razor and heads under hot running water and scrub with toothbrush, set aside and let them dry. Cut decent and worked fine for a little bit. Doesnt fit as tight as the original blade so it pops off very easily when cutting. It also started making a very loud screeching noise after about 6 weeks/12 uses. This has happened to 3 different blades now. Read more

First head lasted me over a year. Purchased replacement and it's going on 8 months of use. Great product. Used with coconut / peppermint oils to help with scalp health and oils also help with blade maintenance. Who knew right.... I'd would be purchasing this product again. Read more

This replacement razor head works great...but...you can clean under the heads quite easily...notice I said under. There is no way to disassemble and brush any oily and hair residue from the blades. I have oily skin so cleaning is essential for them to last more than a month for me. As the blades get oily hair clogged you may rub the skin red and not get hair off...I have had to go back to my 3 blade rotary set up TY hat allows blade removal and better cleaning quite easily also.
