Such as a small item with such a big impact. I could not be happier with these, especially for the price. My office computer sometimes pulls dual duty for recording music and running a DAW. I connect an audio interface and setup two mics to record my son and a friend singing to their favorite songs. To avoid feedback, they have to use headphones to hear the music as they sing along. A feature that I really like about these hangers is that they fold up and out of the way when I don't need them - like after I take down the audio equipment. I also appreciate that the surface in contact with the headphones is curved to match the profile of the headband - no sharp edges. I think this is an exceptional attention to detail that most hangers don't seem to have. Mounting was made easier because the hangers include their own levels - I didn't even have to fetch the level from my toolbox. For those that don't even have a level, this is especially time-saving. The levels are dark so you don't even see them once the hanger is mounted. Most bubble levels are brightly colored. Again, an exceptional level to detail. They even included wipes for preping the surface - an essential step most people skip because of the inconvenience. I've found the adhesive adequate (I waited the recommended 24hrs after mounting them before using them.) But if the adhesive does fail, they've even included an extra adhesive pad. Works as advertised, really easy to set up and comes with cleaning wipes as well as a strong adhesive that works well on painted walls, however be careful when removing them from walls since the adhesive is very strong and can rip paint (happened to me). Overall such a good product I ended up buying another one to hold my controller. EDIT: I no longer use the stand for my controller since it has fallen twice so far and has come off the wall. The problem with this wall mount will not be weight, functionality, versatility, design, grip, or quality, all the things Amazon wants me to tell you about. The problem will be that it's easy to forget that you have it. So, a couple of things. If you are hanging this under a lipped desk, which most will be, make sure you position it with the hanger closed. This way you provide yourself with enough room to open it. Next, it comes with a level on the inside, use this to help ensure that your wall mount is level. It's lightweight, so weight is not an issue. It does its job, so it functions as expected. I'm only using it for headphones, so in that respect it isn't very versatile, but I suppose it could be used for hanging other things. The design is good, it can tuck up out of the way when you don't need it, it includes a level, and it thoughtfully is textured. As mentioned, it is textured. How grippy it is may depend on your headphones. The two headphones I have used it with have a vinyl-type headband on the headphones, so it isn't "hold it still" grippy, but they don't slide around.
