Forehead temperatures are low as expected, but ear temperatures are right on. Temperature readings in a few seconds. The voice part is nice for people who need reading glasses even for big characters. Not my problem... This thermometer is much more cost effective than some of the bigger brands. Read more
Love this the monitor! I mostly use the ear function to check temperatures but I love that I have the option to check the four head as well. It's a nice size and easy to set up the digital information. As a blind person , The speaking feature is a must. The only downfall to this the monitor is the readings are usually a degree off. But that is a very slight fault, as I can just add 1° to whatever my reading is. Read more
At first, it worked wonderfully. However, I had it roughly six months and it stopped taking temperatures. Funny thing is, it still gives accurate room temperature. Every time I use it on myself or my children, it says our temps are between 91-93 degrees! Read more
The people that have left negative reviews for this item obviously didn't read the directions because it works perfectly fine! Only use the attachment for an accurate reading when taking a temperature on the forehead...when taking a temperature in the ear, remove the attachment!! If you do this it will work flawlessly!! Some people think they can just take something out of the box and use it without reading the directions...read people! Read more
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother. She loves it. It's very easy to use, and you can use it in your ear or forehead. The cover comes off for use in the ear. Very accurate, and the voice is very clear. It lets you set the date and time as well. Read more
This is the second health smart thermometer I have purchased and it works a few times or does not run off independently therefore the batteries run our fast and It gives inaccurate readings Would not recommend Read more
I have severe tinnitus (ringing of the ears) and can no longer hear the high pitched beep of standard thermometers. I purchased this one because of reviews (on Amazon and other sites). I can easily hear this one. It makes very fast reads. I found it difficult to get accurate readings on my forehead but then so does the doctor. My ear readings are very close to that of my mouth. I did run into an issue of getting accurate readings in my ear as placement can be tricky. WARNING.... ALWAYS make sure the tip is COMPLETELY clean. If the tip has anything on it before taking a reading, it can take false readings as much as 6 degrees low. Read more
I bought this for the ear thermometer only. Some complained about the forehead scan not working. As a nurse, digital thermometers are hard to keep under a toddlers arm. I wanted an ear thermometer at a good price. This is small, easy to use and accurate. Read more
