This brand of Inositol does not have any taste. It doesn't have much of a smell to it either, which again, I like. Also, it is a true powder formula when it is dry (kind of fluffy & not super granular). You can put the allotted amount in your mouth & wash it down with any fluid similar to you would a Goody's powder, but there is no real taste like a Goody's. Of course you can also mix it into water or other drink, it does take a little bit of stirring (or shaking) to mix to where you don't notice the granules. I originally bought this because my hormone levels are not where they could be and I heard this would help. However, after taking it my acne became worse and my period cycle was irregular. I have never had an irregular cycle until I took this! I will not rate this badly, because I should have done just a bit more research. I found out that if you have a somewhat normal menstrual cycle, you shouldn't take this. I learned my lesson and have quit using it. If you are in the same boat, please try another option such as taking this with d-chiro inositol (please search the 40:1 ratio). Since it didn't work for me, if you have problems with your menstrual cycle I'm sure it will have the opposite effect on you and help you out! In my case, it simply didn't work and that's okay! I thought it was a bit sweet so I mixed it in with juice and it tasted really good. If you are going to take it by itself, bare in mind that it is almost cornstarch-like when it hits your tongue. I put this in my coffee everyday and barely notice taste or texture. Very easy to add into my daily routine and after about 2 months, I am seeing and feeling a difference in weight, energy, and imbalances. It may not fix everything but I believe it is making a difference for myself at least. Much more affordable than the "pink" marketed capsules, which is a definite plus as well. Read more
