I bought these to hang on to a electric wood carving tool. It's sorta like a dremel, but the hand held part is metal and get's extremely hot when used. I used to have to stop even when it wasn't an appropriate time on the project because it actually burning my hand and needed to let the tool cool down. (nothing wrong with the machine, I might just be a wimp, but I've went through 4 of a different brands of the machine that had plastic handles, they actually melted,either the handle or the hose) Then I was using a silicone pot holder which worked but awkward to hold and gave hand cramp. I seen these gave them a try and they are PERFECT. I can now work non stop. Feel absolutely no heat. And no gross hand sweat! Unlike a mitt with no fingers, with that and it's material lets me have a good grip , Since, I am actually only using one glove, I thought since they can be used on either hand I'd use the other glove as back up if the one I use fell apart, but these are holding up so well, I don't know when I will need it. (There is a dumb hole on the handle of the machine that where it spins which seems would be a prob start make the snag and make things dangerous, but these gloves stay together perfectly.) So lucky me!. I've started using the other glove for cooking and of course, they are great at that too. Read more
