I was so excited to revive this heated vest, I opened it as soon as it arrived. Sadly, the size chart included on the listing seems to be off. The measurements should have fit for the XXL listing, but sadly it was barely able to be zipped. I even remeasured myself to be sure I wasn’t wrong on my measurements, but it’s a few inches off for the bust and hips. The vest itself is a little more thin than I expected, not as full as I would have expected from a vest. That said, it functions well and heats up quickly. And the nice thing is it’s not too bulky to add layers. Upon trial everything worked as intended and I was super toasty in no time. Overall, I think it’s an item I would wear to warm up, not have it on consistently as I would get too warm. In doing research on heated vests, not all come with a battery pack included, so it was nice this one came with one. The easily detached battery pack makes it easy to charge on the go if needed. The price tag felt high at nearly $100, bit in looking at other vests, the ones that were cheaper did not include a battery pack, so that makes sense. This seems to be a good middle of the road heated vest for both quality and heat being evenly dispersed. Despite being a women’s vest, my husband even tried it on and I suspect may steal it on the days he’s out snow blowing the driveway. The vest feels like a blanket right out of the dryer. I tried it on and in 5 minutes I was more than warmed up. I live in Texas but purchased it for my annual trip to Wisconsin, I did not want to pack or wear a very heavy jacket but know I need one. Over a bulky sweater this will be perfect. It has specific heated areas your back and across your belly. I love the back heating as I often have back pain and it feels like a heating pad. Very pleased with this purchase and excited to wear it on the plane as I’m always freezing when flying. Love it! Would recommend to anyone looking for some extra warmth but not bulk. Read more
