Having a "Butler Bar" is a nice convenience, that once you get used to having one, you really miss it when it's gone. I used to have a Butler bar which is essentially a short pipe that comes out of your wall so you can hang your current outfit or the outfits you are contemplating wearing on the bar outside of your closet for convenience they're also great for hanging your clothes that you have recently worn so they can air out like your business code for example. These Butler bars are of an industrial aesthetic, black in color, just like old-fashioned black cast iron pipe. They are easy to install in about five minutes with the included hardware. The included screws were long enough to penetrate into the two by 4 inside the wall, which provides additional stability. Once installed, the bars are very sturdy and durable. They can hold the weight of several outfits. So if you're in the market for a Butler bar because you've been missing one these are pretty nice they look nice and they do the job. I really love these these match my farmhouse decor or if you have something more industrial looking or steampunk looking these would be perfect. I have regular little hooks in our closet and one just fell off the wall. I'm going to replace those with these lovely black pipes. These are so much more versatile as you could hang several shirts on them, or purses or anything. They hold a lot more than regular hooks and are a lot more sturdy. They come with attachment hardware that's also painted black so everything matches. The black paint is a flat but with a tiny bit of sheen to it. I can't wait to install these. Read more

I don't have these installed yet, but they will be very helpful in two guest bedrooms at my vacation condo that don't have closets. I know some people (like me) appreciate a place to hang some clothes, even on vacation. These will be fairly easy to install in our concrete block walls, and I expect the metal to stand up to the humidity and salt air. They'll fit in my suitcase and I'm glad I won't have to try to get pipes cut, metal fittings, etc. in a foreign county. These are very convenient and should hold multiple hangers without taking up a lot of wall space. Also, when and if I do get wood closets built, they are still useful to hang robes, beach cover ups, sun hats, or even a decorative kimono or embroidered huipul dress. Perfect in our basement with its partial concrete walls, these are industrial looking but also finished. They are easy to install on wood, with just some screwing around, though concrete is proving more challenging (but that's always the case). These will serve as a place to hang coats with a few black hangers in an unused nook. It's perfect in length for that, very heavy duty and functional, and perfect for my uses. The media could not be loaded. These are a great find! I have a little photo spot for selling items, and these were exactly what I needed for staging. An added bonus is they unscrew from the wall bracket, so I can easily remove them if I don't want them in my photos. They are nice and heavy, but not too heavy that they won't stay hung.
