Very well made with most of the components being thick metal (where required and needed), has some plastic on the VESA head mount but is very dense plastic and seems very sturdy. Cable routing is very easy and has a screw mounted shroud to fasten all the cable securely ran through the monitor arm. Some things to consider for first-time monitor arm users: 1) ensure you have cables long enough to run to the monitor 2) ensure your monitor weight is within rated limits for this monitor arm 3) ensure enough cable is ran to the monitor with amble slack to allow for shortening of the cables when arm is moved down or up as this tugs on the cables and could stress your monitor connectors 4) and most importantly, when running your cables, wait till all your cables are ran through the monitor arm (with enough slack) first and then connect all the cables to the monitor as connecting them too soon and you move the arm in an extreme position, you could stress the connection point and break a connector (like the USB-C connector). And last but not least, custom service for this product is excellent. Read more
I’ve it holding a 34 inch curved LG monitor. Love it so far. Make sure to adjust the arm to hold the weight of the monitor. You can hide the cords in the arm. The swivel is great. Not too lose it tight. Over all very sturdy. Read more
I bought this monitor mount as part of furnishing my new home, and I really love it ! It looks amazing and feels super sturdy once installed. The setup process was a bit tricky, also choosing between the clamp or the hole. One tip: the patch pad included is one-time use only, so decide your mounting method before starting assembly. I went with the clamp, and it works perfectly. Also, make sure to tighten the screws on the arm really well. mine slipped a bit before I fully tightened secured them. 😅 Read more
I bought the Heavy Duty Gas Spring model, it's exactly as promised. I didn't need something this sturdy, my monitor is ~15lbs without a stand, but so many arms advertise a 17lb maximum, and why cut it close when the price difference is negligible. It came with all the mounting hardware needed to get it up an running. I'm an Ikea veteran, so the instructions were dirt simple to understand. All parts were clearly noted in the directions, all tools included except a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Once I placed my monitor on the assembled arm, I very carefully lowered it to the table and adjusted the tension screws. First was the tilt screw directly behind the monitor, then the elbow. Both needed tuning before I was satisfied with the movement and rigidity of the arm. Not clearly advertised: It comes with a cable management tray! Very helpful in my use-case. The only complaint I have, and a very odd thing: As far as I can tell, this is almost 100% steel. The only plastic I identified was on the VESA plate that mounts onto the monitor. The plate is steel, but the locking receiver is plastic, and it's held to the plate by two screws. I'm not against plastic, it can have great qualities, and this didn't look brittle. Just odd. Anyways, if that fails, expect me to update this review on my phone, because all 15lbs will fall directly onto my laptop. Cheers, EK Read more
Never heard of this brand "IMtKotW", but I do like how this is made. Very heavy duty parts - you can tell by the feel it's well made. I bought this one after hours of searching b/c it's the only one with a wide, "double" clamp, so it's footprint is spread out and not dependent on only one clamp. The Vesa mount has a quick release, which makes assembly much easier. I have my doubts, however, this would hold 33lbs as I was on the last turns of the screw with my 17lb 32in. As another reviewer pointed out, the instructions are pictograms only, which left some bits unresolved. Lastly, the lower arm cableway simply slides off and on - very nice - but the upper cableway requires a screwdriver, which is, well, screwy. Overall satisfied though. Read more
I have a 49" wide 35 lbs monitor. I used the clamp - my desk is 1" thick and it works great! My issue is mostly with how the monitor attaches to the arm, but this is the fault of the VESA plate with the monitor, not the arm. It is hard to determine correct placement without setting up the whole thing and seeing how the monitor placement ends up. So now I need to take monitor off, move clamp 4" to the right and put it back. It is designed to be a 1 person job - I had help putting the monitor on the arm the first time, but I think I can do it myself for 2nd time. Read more
I got this for my 49" ultrawide monitor, and it’s been awesome. It holds the weight really well—no drooping or wobbling—and the gas spring makes it super easy to move around. The setup was simple, and it feels super sturdy once mounted. I love how much desk space it freed up, and the clean look it gives my setup. If you’ve got a big monitor and want something reliable, this is totally worth it. Read more
Very sturdy, wobble from my desk does not translate into my monitor wobbling whatsoever. For the price, this monitor arm is what I would expect out of an Ergotron at a fraction of the cost. It wasn't that difficult to setup and performs exactly as I hoped. Read more
