There is a lot of extra length that you can cut off once you know how it fits you. Honestly, if you're on the fence, don't be -- it's worth it. I ordered a size small, have a small B cup, weigh approx. 115 lbs and am a size 4 in jeans, small tops. This corset fits perfectly, and has the ability to fit a larger waist and chest too. This is quite a nice corset top that is suitable for both going out and dressing up for a formal event. I like the jacquard fabric and the laced openings on either side. There is also ribbon laced in the back so you can pull the corset tighter. This is a bit tricky if you have more "meat on your bones" I suppose. I put the corset on and then attempted to tighten the lace very tight for that corset effect... Nope, the edges of the laced holes begin bowing out and it looks sloppy.
