So far I can say this ring is everything it promises. Quick nfc reading from android and iOS devices are no problem once you get it set up. The only thing is I tested with a Google Pixel and saw that some devices needed it enabled first, but most already having running in the background since the same tech is used for debit card readers etc. My advice for IOS users. The manual doesn’t help too much as the text is a bit hard to read on it. The app on there too isn’t so great so I recommend getting a different app to write on the ring. You can just download an NFC writer: “NFC Tools” in the App Store for IOS and can pretty much write whatever you desire on it. It’s the best and easier to use in my opinion. If you have trouble, there are plenty of YouTube tutorials as well, but it’s pretty straightforward. Initially I had trouble setting it up with the app the recommended using, but after using a different third partying nfc tool, it’s been working like a charm. I have an iPhone 13 and it reads as soon as you press it against the camera bump. I’m very happy with the product. This does work with the latest iPhone ! Anyone who gets this one, just be patient, and you’ll get it set up :). Hope this helps! Read more

I have nothing negative to say about this NFC ring. It was super easy to program with the app recommended by the included instructions. (The instructions said the app was android only, but there’s an iPhone version too.) The sensor in the ring works very well with my iPhone 12 Pro. It doesn’t work so well with my girlfriend’s iPhone 13 Pro; it’s more hit or miss, but I think that’s more to do with her phone (she drops it a lot). If you needed something that works more reliably and through thick phone cases, a larger NFC tag might be what you need. The size of the sensor here is limited by the size of the ring. As for ring size, I think their size listings are accurate. I own a stupid amount of rings, so I have a sense of when a ring is “off.” I wear a 10.5, and since this didn’t come in half sizes, I went for an 11. It’s a tiny bit loose, but I prefer that over a tiny bit tight, so I’m happy I went with the 11. I would be very interested in purchasing additional rings in different colors, but for now it seems that it only comes in black. It’s thin but feels durable. Low profile and feels nice on your finger, doesn’t get in the way of daily activities. I really like this a lot. Read more

I received this model of the ring and tried to create a digital business card by entering all the required information. None of the tested phones (iPhone 7, 13, 14, 15, Samsung S23) were able to read it. Then I erased the data and programmed it with an Instagram link — at first, the link opened successfully on all devices. However, after only three weeks, the ring completely stopped working. Erasing and rewriting data through the app shows no errors, but neither the link nor the business card can be read anymore. I tried different methods, but nothing helps. ❌ I do not recommend buying this product. Read more

6 month update: I somehow broke it. The ring shattered around the edges. It still held up a few months, which is more than I expected from a ceramic / plastic ring. I really wish there was a metal option for this. Original 2 month review: I'm really hard on my rings. This thing has dealt with me doing welding, demo work, drywall work, and tiling over two months and still looks the way I got it. It also integrated perfectly with my NFC lock and was easily programmed from my phone. I only give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it came with a scuff or blemish from manufacturing. It has to be from manufacturing... This poor ring has been through a lot and still looks perfect other than that one factory blemish. Either way, I highly recommend it. Read more

I wanted to try and nfc ring for fun. This product had the best cost so I purchased this one. The only feature provided by this product is NFC as stated so don't expect other smart ring functions. Works really well with any modern smart phone and the NFC tools app. I programmed the ring to have my Contact information. One note: Ensure that you do the ring sizing check that they suggest. I went with the largest option available and it was still too small for most of my fingers. I currently wear it on my pinky for the most part. Read more

I simply don’t understand the negative reviews. The ring works absolutely great. Be aware you must setup the ring before your phone will recognize it. Most, if not all modern phones have an NFC reader built in so there should be no issue using this ring. My suggestion is to throw away the instructions that come with the ring as they’re totally worthless. Seriously, don’t even look at them as they will only confuse and frustrate you. You can setup the ring using the free software called “NFC tools” available from the App Stores. NFC Tools is your best bet. If you have an iPhone you can also setup automations using the Shortcuts app. There are plenty of videos on YouTube on how to setup an NFC card or tag. Setting up the ring is exactly the same as setting up an NFC card or other device. I setup my ring to provide my website or phone number when scanned. A friend or client just holds their phone next to the ring and instantly they have my information. Prior to the ring, I had to dig out an NFC card in my wallet or go old-school and recite my number verbally. Note that this ring is ceramic and not metal however everyone looking at it will think its metal. Ceramic is the best choice for NFC. If the ring was metal, the NFC range would be very limited. Worked really well for about 2 months, then it chipped off and now it’s sharp on the inside of the ring. Definitely not ideal. Read more
