Works as advertised. The base is fairly light so if you put a heavy monitor on it like I have you'll want to secure it to your desk somehow, since it will tend to just lift up entirely instead of extending otherwise. The top setting sometimes doesn't engage the slot fully in the mechanism (also likely due to my heavy load) but you can tap the bar into place safely from the side so it's fine. This is actually a pretty good alternative to a full standing desk. It’s pretty easy to use and is functional and doesn’t take up too much space. It’s light but sturdy. I have it at 1 foot high, but it looks like it could go as high as foot and a half. All in all it was a good buy. Read more
