My desk is 30" x 66" so space was a concern. After reading reviews and checking dimensions on lots of these, I decided on this one because the base is 3" shallower than most others. I also chose it because one reviewer stated that they used it without the keyboard tray, which made the size perfect for my small desk. I got it and it took minutes to set it up, mainly because I didn't plan on using the keyboard tray, so it was good to go. I positioned it diagonally on the left corner of my desk, as I felt that left the middle/right of my desk for other tasks. It does overlap my partner's desk by a few inches, but it isn't a problem for her and it is the best angle for me. I used the Velcro strap that they used for shipping to hold my computer on the top, probably not necessary but I felt better safe than sorry since it isn't my computer and I often have students gathered around my desk. It raises and lowers smoothly and easily. No sudden drops or rises. The mechanism does offer a little resistance, which is why it goes up and down without sudden movements. It can be adjusted, but it was perfect for me right out of the box.. Initially it was awkward to have the keyboard on my normal desk because it was too low, so I placed it on the top, as it has plenty of space for my large all-in-one and the keyboard and mouse., but that wasn't great either, workable, but still a little awkward and it didn't leave enough space to place the papers I was working from. The keyboard tray is 11" deep, to accommodate the wider, ergonomic keyboards, but I don't use one of those at work so I had my husband cut the tray down to 7-1/2". He did it from the back and had to move the recessed metal screw receivers. He then painted the back black and you can't tell it was modified. It works perfectly now! It took less than an hour. PROS: Sturdy Excellent Quality Looks Great Goes up and down easily and smoothly, easily positions to any height Lots of space to put papers I am typing/reading on the top by the monitor Price: it is reasonably priced, as there was a $20.00 coupon, making it more reasonable The keyboard tray is positioned perfectly no matter what height, doesn't shake when typing When lifted, it leaves more room on my desk. I often lift it and then use the space below to collate and gather paperwork CONS Not really a con if you need it, but the wider keyboard tray made it impossible to fit my narrow desk I am completely happy with this product. I have bursitis and sitting irritates my hip. This product has made working on my computer for long periods pain free. I would (and have} recommended it to others. Everyone who has come into my office loves the look and ease of use. Most plan to purchase one in the near future. Read more

I have a built in desk and needed to convert it to a standing desk. It was easy to put together with just the screws provided and a screw driver. Really you just need to add the keyboard tray. I was concerned that my cats would jump on the keyboard tray and the whole thing would come tumbling down. Several reviews for the Mount-It! mentioned it was heavy. It is, and that's what makes it very sturdy. I am incredibly impressed with how sturdy it is. It's a very good size for one large monitor and the lever makes it easy to raise and lower. Highly recommend! Read more

Listen, I LOOOVVEE this desk. It is the perfect size for me. Just what I needed. It came well packaged and no damages. If you want an excellent alternative to buying a height-adjustable table then this is the perfect fit for you. Love that it has the two tiers and the top panel can adjust to the height of your choice. Considered getting a cheaper model but I have absolutely no regrets in getting brand. It is very sturdy and feels like it will last a very long time with good care. Toast to the manufactures!! Very satisfied customer!!! Read more

Just what I needed. I needed a smaller desk top adjustable monitor/keyboard stand. This works great in a small place. The unit is super easy to lower and raise to computer height while standing. I am 5'8" tall and this raises to a comfortable position for me to stand. In the evening I lower the stand and work from a seated position. Either position works well with this stand. Assembly was nothing. I had to screw on the keyboard stand, but that was it. Love it. Read more

The media could not be loaded. It's a nice and heavy standing desk that doesn't move as you type and stays in place when moving out from sitting to standing position. It has a hydraulic lever that helps to raise it. You do need two hands to push and help bring it down after activating the lever. I'm happy with my purchase and 6 months later of daily use it's still going strong. I am 5'8 and rises to be comfortable for my height. Side note: I did add a few felt pads to the bottom to protect my desk from possible scratching as it sits flat on the desk. Read more

Well-made, sturdy - it was quite heavy so do not plan on moving it around - easy to use - however I had to return it. Why? If you notice the keyboard/mouse tray is not adjustable nor does it fold out of the way - it is in a fixed position. So when I raised it to stand my computer could be adjusted to the perfect visual height BUT in order to use the keyboard or mouse my arms/hands /shoulders had to be raised to an incorrect position - your shoulders should stay level, your elbows at waist level and hands level or lower. You can not do that with this one. Then when you lower it to sit - once again the keyboard remains fixed - so everything is now elevated above your former sitting at desk typing position including the fact that the keyboard is again too high. Raising my chair to maximum height still fell far short. Some other models have a keyboard that folds away - if you could only lower the keyboard to a comfortable working level for your arms it would be great. But keep using this kind and it looks like you'll be heading to neck strain and carpal tunnel land. Wish these were more practically designed. Read more
