I've been using this set regularly for a few months now. When I first used the mat I was convinced it would not last more than a month! This mat showed severe indents for every position! I just knew it would get warped quickly. Much to my surprise, it's actually very forgiving and will regain it's smoothness once you're done with your workout. This mat is much thicker than the usual yoga mats. It feels and acts like memory foam. I have rheumatoid arthritis and cannot kneel on a regular mat, but this one cushions my knees enough that I can. The blocks are invaluable for helping with some positions where you just can't bend that far. The same is true of the strap; it allows me to hold my arms behind me for stretching despite a limited range of motion in my shoulder joints. This is a great set. The towels are microfiber. Read more
Soft mat. Easy to store. I really like the blocks. I have a hard time sitting with my legs crossed and the blocks prevent the painful tension. I’m new to exercise and this kit has everything I needed to get started. Quality materials. No slipping, ripping, or straps breaking. Buying separately is very expensive. This kit is a fantastic value! Read more
I really like these yoga blocks! I've been practicing yoga for 15 years, and I've always practiced in a studio using the blocks provided. Usually, those are lightweight, inexpensive synthetic blocks. I bought these because I wanted to practice at home and was looking for a sturdy block that was made from natural materials and looked attractive in my living room. These blocks are a little bigger than the typical studio blocks and feel very stable. They're also firmer than the norm, but again, I find that's an advantage as it's helpful to have a solid foundation to push off from. They did come wrapped in plastic (which is annoying), but I haven't noticed any odor -- either when I first opened them or since. So far, these blocks have held up well. The cork hasn't flaked or broken. That said, my home practice is intermittent, and I'm also not using them in a hot/heated environment. Additionally, I'm not transporting them to/from different destinations. I think they'd be heavy to lug around, and I'd probably go with a synthetic block if I wanted to travel with them. Read more
The packaging is very LIGHTWEIGHT!! The mat itself is VERY SOFT AND COMFORTABLE!! I like the blocks but they tend to slide, this is my first yoga set so i really dont know if all blocks are made with the same material or if i was simply just using them wrong🤷🏾♀️ But anyway.. the yoga strap WAS COMPLICATED FOR ME!! so i had to purchase another one separately that was simply. *DISCLAIMER JUST BECAUSE THE STRAP DIDNT WORK FOR ME DOESNT MEAN IT CANT WORK FOR YOU!! The towels are a nice quality as well overall GREAT ITEM TO HAVE ESPECIALLY FOR BEGINNERS!! Read more
I am surprised and delighted by the quality of this! The mat is thicker than anticipated and so comfotable to use on hard wood floors. I actually fell asleep on it once. The strap has come in handy in assisting with stretching. Not gonna lie, the big towel ended up in the car and is used to wipe the dog down after snowy romps in the park. Listen, it's really absorbant and it dries quickly! Love love love that it comes with two blocks! I had to buy my last ones seperatly. This has everything a beginner yogi needs to get started. I got this as a Christmas gift and love the set. The yoga mat is so soft. As all soft mats though I forsee this one not lasting long as it is already showing wear after a couple weeks....like I said this is normal for a soft mat and not really a problem for me. The blocks, belt and towels are all really good quality that look long lasting. I also love the calming color, tru to the pictures they show. Read more
It’s very well made for the price. Yeah the towels aren't stitched like fine fabrics but the set is well worth the price I paid of around forty five dollars. I received two blocks, a strap, yoga mat, yoga mat towel, and a small towel. They all feel live velvet to the touch other than the strap which is a bit rugged feeling. Its not a stretchy strap, but solid and firm. The mat is quite soft. I got this set because of the towels, blocks, and strap and the mat was bonus for me actually. I have a very very nice mat already but really bad joints. I do yoga as part of my physical therapy and was thinking, “i can use the pink mat layered on top of my existing grey one as extra shock absorption” i expected the mat to be the thinner, firmer kind but its very cushy and soft so I’m pretty stoked about the layered comfort while I do my physical therapy. I added a lot of different pics for color comparisom because we keep a very dim house on account of light sensitivity migraines. The pictures include flash, no flash, and items for color comparison (green amazon box, light tan chair, light blue bell bottoms 😁). There are no filters on the pics just our dim soft yellow lighted house. I have chosen pink as the color for all my PT gear and I really wanted to show just how pretty the set looked and how well it matched my destiny schwinn which has pearly light pink, dark pink, white, and black. I would only recommend you purchase this if you’re only doing yoga and not wearing shoes. Nice, thick, and comfy for yoga. I liked the mat, but need something much stronger for my HIIT workouts. I tore it apart in less than a week :( Mat comes apart and rips at either end and stretches to a point where it’s dangerous. The towels and blocks are great though :) Read more
