The active ingredient in this treatment ointment is petroleum jelly — and that’s the only active ingredient. We have several treatment ointments in our household, and this is the only one where petroleum is the sole active component. Does that mean it doesn’t work? I’m no expert, but while petroleum can help protect and reduce irritation, it doesn’t have any medicinal effect that actually treats the issue. To be fair, I can’t personally say whether the others truly do either. They do have other active ingredients, but what they do is unknown. That said, there are additional ingredients here that do seem to help with comfort, and I love that they’re plant-based. The tube itself is surprisingly small compared to similar drugstore and name-brand options. Very small. It does come with two internal applicators, though no one in our household has needed to use them. At the current price of $14.99, it would have to work miracles for me to see the value. We’ll finish the tube to see if it replaces our usual treatments, but so far, the price is hard to justify for such a small amount. Read more

Perfect travel size (10g), it comes with applicators, easy to use, the cream absorbs fast, non-greasy, does not stain underwear, i used it on a long flight and stayed comfortable the whole time. Read more
