I bought these long-sleeve undershirts specifically to wear under jumper dresses, and they honestly do the job beautifully. They’re very thin and lightweight, but in a good way — the fabric has that soft, second-skin feel that makes layering easy without adding bulk. Under dresses, sweaters, or cardigans, they create a smooth, clean base and never feel heavy or stiff. The thinness also means they don’t compete with whatever you’re wearing over them. The sleeves slide easily under tighter jumpers, and the neckline lays nicely without bunching. They’re breathable and comfortable for all-day wear, especially if you tend to get warm in thicker layers. That said, they do feel a bit short in length, almost like a subtly cropped top. If you have a longer torso or plan to tuck it in, you might notice it riding up. For anyone who’s busty, the shorter cut becomes even more noticeable because the fabric lifts with the chest. Because of that, I’d definitely recommend sizing up — it gives extra length, a little more room through the chest, and overall just fits smoother under layered outfits. Despite being thin, they hold their shape well and wash nicely without stretching out or becoming see-through. I hesitated returning this shirt as it was, I thought, a bargain. After I recieved them I even went back to check it was not for child sizes. I wear a size 12 and ordered an X large. Short, small neck, shoulder tight. Read more
