These are fantastic velveteen pants. I have ordered them in blue, black and brown. The brown is more of a rich copper brown, very pretty. These can be dressed up or casual. There is a lovely sheen to them. They fit amazing. Drape is nice, fabric is medium to light weight, right in between which lends to their nice fit and drape. Length was perfect for me, I am 5’7”, 143 lbs. They hit to my heel, a little beyond with 1 inch or a bit more. They washed beautifully, I aired dried them, just hung them up to dry. They look good but whatever this material is made of made me itch all over. I don't have sensitive skin and this literally never happens to me. I tried to wear these as jammies right after dinner and within two hours, I was itching EVERYWHERE if you catch my drift. Before removing tags, try to wear for a few hours. These velour pants are hard to review since the pants are so comfortable and of good quality especially for the cost! But for me they are too high waisted and what drew me to purchase actually was the reason for the 3 stars. Looking at the pictures on the description you'll see that these pants have an extra white elastic band detail on the waistband. I tend to purchase high waisted pants since I have lost a large amount weight and need tummy support/hiding and I liked the white waistband detail on these pants. Now these pants are definitely high waisted but with that additional elastic band at the top they come up almost right underneath my chest (I'm 5'5"). That extra detail would look so much better on a much lower waisted pant; however on these it's a negative addition. The pants are a nice soft velour with that silky stretchy kind of rayon material on the inside. This can cause that unfortunate effect should you sleep in them, you know when you toss and turn the inside layer stay clung to your leg while the outter layer slips and slides around. That can be a real pain. But it adds to the thickness and makes them better for cooler weather wear. Definitely a nice quality for the cost but be aware that these are truly high waisted and are two layer material pants. I thought these velour sweatpants were going to be like the Y2k velour tracksuits that were so popular. The styling is different, however. As described in the product listing, this pair is high waisted and baggy, while the Y2k version was lower rise and more fitted. This pair is very comfortable and as described in the listing, it’s just not quite the style I was envisioning. I am 5’7” and ~155 lbs. I normally wear size 8-10 in bottoms but went with size large based on the measurements provided. I would have been better off with a medium because this pair is baggy on me and a little shapeless. If I wear these sweatpants high on my waist, the length hits just above the floor, similar to the length on the model in the video. She must be taller than I am—if I wore them lower on my hips as she does, these pants would be dragging on the floor or I would have to have them hemmed, or maybe fold over the waistband. Read more
