Got this for my son and honestly it was such a good call. He hasn't put it down since we opened it and that's saying something with kids these days. Why he loves it: Actually climbs walls. The gecko looks cool and moves really naturally Super durable Even our cat freaks out when it moves which cracks him up Parent perspective: Easy to figure out, he got the hang of it right away Keeps him entertained for hours Actually gets him off his tablet which is basically a miracle Great for playdates, all his friends think it's the coolest thing ever Honestly one of the best toys I've gotten him in a while. Won the head to head competition against other wall crawler. Made slightly better, was faster, and had better fabric for suction to wall. still was able to be used a slightly textured wall where the other had more issues. Both would do well on totally smooth surface but this one would still win over other brands. Better overall made toy. kid and cats alike found it interesting for a little while. Great value for the money I thought it looked a little cheap when I pulled it out of the box but it is pretty cheap anyway. My three kids love it! My 6 year old with autism loves flapping the arms and head around! He bit the tail right off. It climbs up walls great! Fun for kids! Easy use! My 3 year old daughter knows how to use the remote. This is a great gift for a five year old. This was a very popular toy for Christmas in our household and even some of the adults wanted a turn. It has two modes, walk and floor mode, it’s goes up, down, left, and right. It was fairly easy for an adult to assemble and overall good quality. The toy is very light in weight which is needed for it to be able to climb up the walls. The only con is that the battery does not last very long. On a full charge we got maybe 15 minutes on wall mode if not less. It’s pretty loud due to the vacuum so maybe a day time toy. I didn’t really time it in floor mode so I can’t comment on that. When in wall mode it will fall if there are even any slight bends. We also have orange peel texture walls and it seems to do just fine. Overall a very cool toy for the younger kids! Read more

I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical about whether this would actually stick to the wall, but the HEX BOTS Wall Crawler Gecko is incredible! It uses a clever "vacuum" suction technology that allows it to scurry up SMOOTH walls and even across the ceiling without falling or leaving any marks. it has Realistic Movement: The way it scurries is surprisingly lifelike and "creepy" in the best way possible. The glowing LED eyes are a great touch, especially for playing in a darkened room. Its Easy to Control: The remote is very intuitive. A 3 year old can do it.
