I got these gloves to help me pick up chestnut hulls. The small size is a perfect fit for my small hands and I like the velcro enclosure. They are great for working in because they are light and more 'breathable' than other gloves. They are also less stick-resistant than regular garden gloves but they do not prevent sticks from chestnut hulls. The chestnut hulls probably require Kevlar :( The gloves are not chestnut-proof but I like the weight and fit of the gloves for working outside so I still gave 4 stars. Read more
