These fur lined Hey Dudes go splendidly with slacks, jeans, and especially with leggings! Originally, I ordered a different boot from the same maker in an 8. I am a true size 8 1/2. The 8 was too snug. I decided to try this style instead in a 9. Bingo! They couldn't fit more perfectly and I can wear a medium or thick sock with them! These actually have strings that tie, but still slide on and off easily. They are so light weight that it is like walking on marshmallows. For a comfortable fit, I would go up a half size! Be prepared to fall in love with these honeys!! My story isn't over. I need to add that one shoe was a size 8 and one was a size 9! Actually the size 8 worked the best for me. With this in mind, I would say they are a little longer than my other Hey Dudes. This pair must go back, but I have already reordered because this is such a neat shoe! Read more

I knew that I wanted a pair of Hey Dudes to wear for walking on cold/cool mornings in Central Florida. Temps in the 40s-50s. i didn't really know what I was getting when I ordered these. I picked this pair mainly for the sale price and next day delivery. Well, they are awesome and I love them. I think they're wool - like a beige herring bone pattern. The cuffs are soft and warm and the same plush covers the inside as well. They have snaps under the cuff, so when unsnapped, the cuff can be turned up for extra ankle warmth. They are sized a tad bigger than a regular 7, I guess to wear with socks. I tried them with a medium weight sock and they're perfect. Read more
