I kept these hey dude boots on my wishlist all summer. I had a problem with the fact that my size is almost triple the price of the size down from mine. But early November, I finally made the purchase. They look every bit as good in person as they do online. It is a bit of a struggle getting them on, but they are very comfortable once they are on. They definitely aren't a heavy boot. And that's good. They look good with many outfits I have. I just wish they were water resistant for rainy days. My only real complaint with them, is from the second I put them on, they have squeaked. So very loud! So loud, everywhere I go. My family has begun making Sponge Bob jokes at me. I read online you can put powder under your insoles, but that's a very short lived temporary fix. I'm hoping that with time, when I break them in good, the squeaking will stop. These boots feel like I’m wearing a combination of warm over the ankle house slippers and Hey Dudes!! I absolutely love them! They aren’t SUPER warm, as in I wore them in Asheville NC when it was in the 80s and they weren’t too hot. But they do feel like they’ll be super cozy in the winter. I read the reviews about sizing up but since I wear 9 in Hey Dude shoes I ordered a 9 in these boots. Should have sized up! They were a little tight so I decided to return for a larger size. I have a wide foot and absolutely hate to have anything tight on my feet. Unfortunately they did not have the next size available.
