Received this black device and spent some time familiarizing myself with it. My primary goal is to use this when traveling to ensure my privacy in hotel rooms and short-term rentals. I haven’t had a trip since it arrived, so all I can comment on so far is the unit itself and its basic functions. It’s small and lightweight, which is definitely important for travel. I like that it's not bulky or anything like that, so it can easily be tucked away. The controls are pretty intuitive. There are a couple of buttons to switch between modes and adjust the sensitivity. I tried the infrared light mode, which is designed to reflect off camera lenses. It seems to work as advertised, creating a bright reflection when pointed at a camera lens. But without actually having a hidden camera to test it on, it’s hard to say how effective it would be in a real situation. I also played around with the wireless signal detection. This is a nifty camera detector. I like that it can detect a number of different devices/signals & that It has adjustable sensitivity. It beeps very loudly when detecting by default, but you can turn the sound off & just rely on the lights to show you. I got this to do a sweep of an apartment of one of my family members & am happy to have it for a piece of mind for when we travel & stay at hotels & airbnbs. This is a frequency detector that can be used specifically for wifi or more broadly for most rx frequencies. This also had a magnetic field detector and an infrared detector. You can adjust the sensitivity in this, so it'll work even in noisy environments. The ir sensor only really works with the lights off. Overall this is ok quality, and it is as described. Read more

In the beginning I was not sure it is going to work, because I purchased detector from different brand didn't work. But I check this detector it does detect near by wireless devices. This device is fantastic!!! Worth money Read more
