Wow! This is incredibly spacious and soft! The color is perfect and exactly what I’ve been looking for! It’s darker without the flash, but I was astounded at how much different it appeared in these photos! I bought the lighter of the brown options. Oh, the smell of the leather is heavenly! The stitching is lovely, and the inner lining feels sturdy. I was worried that the straps might not fit might arms well, but they are also exactly what I was hoping they’d be. A single magnetic closer is handy, and the key clasp at the top is a great addition so you don’t lose your keys in the bottom of the bag. The lining is very cute and perfect for fall, but I shall be using it every day of the year! This is such fabulous quality for the price! I’m amazed, truly! I feel so spoiled right now. This is a bag designed to carry larger-ish items. Like books, a tablet, an iPad, and makeup bags stuffed with essentials. Tons of room inside, but not a lot of interior pockets. There is a key attachment and one internal zipper pocket on one side. Additional,it is LINED. I cannot stand unlined bags because they get so dirty and are difficult to clean. The lining is the type that would be easy to keep clean. The only improvement I can think would substantially add to the value of the bag would be a detachable shoulder strap. But overall, this is a fantastic quality bag, especially when the price was less than a hundred dollars. Read more
This is a truly gorgeous tote bag! I absolutely LOVE this company!! This is the third piece I’ve purchased from them and the quality is top notch on all three (laptop case, case for chargers/cables and now this tote). This bag is made of beautiful, quality leather (mine is the single malt mahogany colour) and I’m sure it will outlive me!! It smells like a leather dream and I’m certain I will never have to buy another tote bag again!😂 The interior is done just as beautifully as the exterior. The plaid lining is great quality and the entire bag is extremely well sewn. It has a roomy interior zip pocket and two slip pockets. This is a very roomy tote which can hold a lot. This tote is beautiful and very well made with high quality leather, as other comments have mentioned. The color is classic and seems it will last years. There are 3 interior pockets, 1 larger with zipper would easily fit a large phone & other items, and a small hook just inside for keys, a pendant, etc. The bag is roomy but doesn't appear huge, not too heavy. Straps are not adjustable but good length for carrying over shoulder or by hand without dragging on ground. A multi-functional bag that could fit laptop & other items or used for shopping, tools, art supplies, or a regular tote purse. There's a center snap closure at top, I would have preferred an inside zipper as well for security. It'd be perfect if it weren't for this, and for the packaging. The bag arrived in a thin torn plastic, a whole end of the plastic was opened, but fortunately no damage, however the tote was folded so tightly inside of the plastic that there is a crease in the leather that has been tough to steam out. I noticed it in others photos as well. For this reason of the crease from the poor tight packaging, I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. I would suggest better quality packaging and looser folding of the leather so as not to damage your beautiful products. i LOVE this purse. I get so many compliments. its well made, thick full grain leather hide. fully lined - and nicely done. the seams are solid, no fraying yet. it has interior pockets, two regular (side by side to hold things like your cell phone) and one interior zippered pocket . the snap enclosure at the top of the bag is magnetic. theres even a place to clip in your key ring. love it! highly recommend. The appearance, quality of the leather, workmanship and utility of this bag is excellent as is typical of this vendor’s products. You won’t regret the purchase, which is very reasonable compared to other, similar satchels. I ordered the single malt mahogany because I loved the color. Unfortunately I seem to have received the bourbon brown. I still gave it 3 stars because the quality is great and the leather is very soft but I really wanted the other color. In looking at pictures other reviewers added, it appears the color labels on the description may be reversed. I just ordered the bourbon brown. Hopefully it will be the lighter color I wanted and I’ll return this bag. Read more
