This mount does exactly what it says it does, you can't ask for more than that. The PS4 version is slick and the black color matches well with the Playstation itself. It looks great hanging on the wall above my monitor, the controller mount works great and also looks very sharp. I would buy this again, without hesitation, hoping they make a PS5 version that is just as good! Read more

I've been wanting to mount my PS4 system for a long time. After doing research and reading reviews I settled for the HIDEit mounting system. Incredibly easy to install, my PS4 is very secure and stable in the mount. Mounting the Playstation changed the whole aesthetician of the room. A much cleaner look in less than 10 minutes. The only negative thing I will say about this package is the controller mounts don't seem very secure, I haven't mounted them yet but they don't seem to be custom fitted for the controllers like the Playstation mount is. First off I'd like to say excellent customer service. I got the package within a couple days of ordering and was missing the controller attachment piece. I emailed first thing in the morning. Within a few hours they had my pieces shipped with all the the screws. My husband got a massive TV, huge, it literally takes up the wall. So I figured why not hide everything behind it? I can't see anything! No little fingers turning on the PS4 or losing the controllers. And oh darn I put them too high, guess the kids can't grab them whenever now! My husband thought to test the strength by pulling ON THE PS4 while it was attached to the wall to "see if it would come off", it didn't, I thought the console would break before it came off of the wall. It doesn't heat up anymore than a usual. The newer tv doesn't give off heat like our old one used to so I would make sure your tv wouldn't overheat your console if you plan to out it behind the tv. The controllers fit behind the tv too. Make sure if to leave enough hand room so you aren't bumping them out of place. I regret not putting them next to the console for easier charging but we play often enough to charge while playing. I really hate console shelves. They always end up being the defacto storage place for every wire, controller, remote, random electronic accessory that I've collected for the last six years. I don't need that stuff. I never do. But for some reason I feel compelled to keep ten one foot Ethernet cables around. I've decided I have these things because I've always had a place to put them, the giant console/tv stand in my living room. It takes up space, collects insane amounts of dust, and harbors years of ridiculous collections of wires and controllers. I haven't had a PS3 in four years. I have three PS3 remotes in there. And for some reason, a random VGA wire. And some speaker wire. And a whole bunch of other junk that I *might* need but never do. So I bit the bullet and decided when I got my new TV, I wasn't going to keep any of that stuff. Having a hide-it mount made the change so much easier. Not only does it not allow me to indulge in my electronic packrattiness, it's also so much less clutter in my living room. I love it. I'm totally getting one of these for the Switch and the XB1. I have a 60 inch tv on the wall. It has all that space behind it. Why not use it? Not only that, but I have one cord going up to my TV instead of six. I mounted a nice power brick back there to make it work out that way. The pictures aren't the way it will eventually look. I have some ideas to streamline it further, but it's nice to have everything tucked away. I just can't believe I never thought to look these things up before. I grew up with those silly commercials where they show a flat screen on a wall (above a fireplace no less) with no cords or anything else. I get why they advertise it like that, it looks cool, simple and modern that way. But I always thought it was ridiculous because I have all these consoles I use regularly. I was super tickled to find someone made mounting kits for these things. Bonus - my cat doesn't try to sit on my PS4 when I'm playing it anymore. And accidentally eject the game when I shoo her away.
