Absolutely regret getting this mount. They definitely could make it more clear that this is just a metal plate and you need to have the 30$ charger already from PlayStation. Glad I already had that. This mount is just a cheap piece of metal. The charging base slides in and wobbles so much I don't know how everyone claims this is a stable controller mount option. Absolutely unhinged that they suggest you wrap the charging cable a bunch around the base to make it more stable. That's terrible for the cable and what if you need the distance? I'm going to have to figure out to how to make this stable otherwise I am going to return it because it is absolutely terrible out of the box. Also HIDEit claims this to be an American product but the box says made in China. Usually means it was "designed in America" then outsourced to China to mass produce because they don't want to pay fair wages to manufacturing staff. Read more

Pro: looks great on the wall with all my other HIDEit products Con: not the greatest design (due to product) I've used a number of these mounts over the years (aTV, shield, various consoles, controllers, etc) and while this one isn't my favorite design it does the job well. Now my issues with the design are no fault of HIDEit, they made a great mount for what they had to work with, but in order to get the charge base in the mount and have the mount be one piece there is some 'play' in the charger when it's in the mount. I solved this with a partial command strip under the charger to hold it in place once it's set. Read more

The bracket was easy to install. The charger just rests on the bracket and would do a little better with a small piece of two way tape to hold the charger in the correct place on the bracket. The front of the bracket with the bent metal portion is meant to capture the charger. But there is some play in the bracket to the charger. Read more
